On this page 4 sections
01Account access.
Everyone signs in with an email address and password. A workspace belongs to one company. Owners and dispatchers see the company’s fleet and records; drivers see their own rescues, receipts, documents and reports. A driver joins a company only with that company’s invitation. Drivers and dispatchers can delete their own account from the app.
02Driver location.
The driver app reads location only while it is open, for two things: finding nearby services, and sharing the truck’s latest position with the company’s dispatchers. Only the latest position is kept, not a trail. It never tracks drivers in the background, and there is no hardware to install. A driver can turn Location off in the phone’s settings at any time.
03Documents and expenses.
Receipts, documents and accident photos are uploaded to your company’s workspace and shown to the roles that are allowed to see them. Accident reports keep the first account and append follow-ups rather than overwriting.
04Storage and transport.
Data travels over encrypted connections and is stored in a managed database and file store that encrypt at rest. Payment details go to Stripe; Upways never sees or stores card numbers.
